Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid 'texting each other all the time'
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have been "hanging out a couple (of) weeks", according to a source.
Singer Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid are reportedly "super into each other" as romance rumours continue to gather pace.
The former One Direction star was first linked to the supermodel on Monday (23Nov15) and pictures soon emerged of the pair in a car together following Justin Bieber's AMAs after party on Sunday (22Nov15). While it was previously reported that they are not yet boyfriend and girlfriend, a source told Us Weekly that the stars definitely have a strong spark.
"They seem equally super into each other, texting each other all the time,” the insider told the outlet. “They’ve only been hanging out a couple weeks."
Gigi, 20, split from boyfriend Joe Jonas earlier this month (Nov15) after getting together in the summer, while former One Direction star Zayn, 22, called off his engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards in August (15).
The British singer reportedly watched Gigi walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show recently and was impressed by what he saw.
"He thinks she’s so hot," the source continued. "He takes interest in her shoots and videos she does. He thinks she’s sweet, too. She talks about her mom a lot and her family, and he likes that.”
Gigi is also believed to have met with some of Zayn's friends, who were impressed by her personality as much as her looks.
"She drinks beers with the guys, she’s cool and funny,” the insider added.
Zayn recently opened up about his break-up from Perrie, 22, in an interview with Fader magazine, denying speculation that he ended their relationship via text.
"If you could word it exactly this way, I’d be very appreciative,” he told the outlet. “I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that.
"She knows that, I know that and the public should know that as well. I don’t want to explain why or what I did, I just want the public to know I didn’t do that.”
