Zellweger 'to adopt'
Renée Zellweger is said to be keen to start a family with her boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II.
The American actress is currently dating Eric Clapton guitarist Doyle Bramhall II.
After several failed relationships, including an engagement to Jim Carrey and very short marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney, Renée is said to want to start a family as soon as possible now she has met her perfect man.
"She's considering adopting. She's been directing and working on her own projects, which has given her more time and flexibility to build her relationship with the right guy," a source told RadarOnline. "Hopefully, she'll get the family she's always dreamed of having... Renée's a true romantic, and she didn't want to be a single mom. She always wanted to have a partner who is dying to share the adventure of parenthood with her."
The pair met during their time at the University of Texas at Austin in the '90s. After reconnecting in 2012, the 44-year-old actress is reportedly thrilled to have found a spark with the musician and is desperate for them to be parents.
"Renée was ecstatic about finding love again with an old friend. She knew Doyle's a good, solid guy, and she easily imagined starting a family with him," the insider added.
"She followed him to his different gigs around the country this summer like a groupie. She joked that she felt like a teenager again! She knows that she probably missed the boat on carrying and giving birth to a child. She gets down about not having a family yet. She really thought that she'd be married and raising kids out in the Connecticut countryside by now."
Renée is said to be hopeful about the future. She reportedly doesn't mind becoming mother at a later age than she originally planned.
"Renée tries to find the positive side of things. She knows 44 isn't too old to be a mom. It will just have to happen a little differently than she always imagined it would," the source said.
