Zendaya mourns the loss of beloved dog
Zendaya has shared her sorrow over the death of her furry friend Midnight.
Pop star Zendaya has paid tribute to “one of the most loyal men” in her life, her dog Midnight, who has passed away.
The former Disney star took to Instagram to share her sorrow after her beloved pooch died on Monday (26Oct15). The 19 year old had had the canine since she was a little girl, and his passing has had a profound effect on the star.
“My baby went to heaven today,” she wrote on the social networking site alongside a picture of the little black pet. “Thank you for being one of the most loyal men in my life, for loving me unconditionally and for cuddling me when ever (sic) I needed, I don't know if you ever understood me when I told you but I love you more than you'll ever know. We've been together since I was 8 and I'm not really sure how to get use to a house without your cute paws clinking around....but thank you for every second of love you gave us.”
Zendaya regularly posted pictures of Midnight on Instagram, referring to him as her “cuddle buddy”.
The star isn’t the only famous face to lose a pet this year. Fellow singer Demi Lovato was left devastated back in July (15) when her dog Buddy was killed by a coyote in her back yard.
“We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer (Valderrama) and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday,” she shared about the adorable little white dog. “He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong. (sic)”
