Zoe Saldana 'gives birht'
Zoe Saldana has welcomed twins into the world, according to a report.
The 36-year-old actress and her husband Marco Perego confirmed she was expecting in July and shortly afterwards it was reported that two babies were on their way.
It's now been claimed that Zoe welcomed her children into the world two days ago, although no confirmation has been received.
"Zoe and Marco are delighted, Zoe has been ready to drop for some time and they are both ecstatic to be meeting the twins," an insider told British newspaper The Mirror.
"This a dream come true for both of them, they are absolutely delighted. They have been looking forward [to] this day for the last nine months.
"Both want a big family so this is the start."
It's thought Zoe and Marco will try their best to keep the new arrivals out of the limelight. They are known for being secretive about their relationship, marrying away from the spotlight in June last year.
They did their best to keep her pregnancy under the radar, although the plan was scuppered by her Crossroads co-star Britney Spears. During an appearance on a US TV show in September, Britney was asked about whether she'd like to work with Zoe again.
"Who knows? That's a very good idea," the singer said.
"But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she got a huge future ahead of her."
Zoe has kept quiet about the apparent birth on social media too, although she has maintained a presence on Twitter. Late last night she posted a musing about Christmas, while just a few hours ago she seemingly commented on the hacking of Sony Pictures this week. Emails between several Hollywood bigwigs have been leaked online, including one in which producer Scott Rudin calls Angelina Jolie "a minimally talented spoiled brat".
"Being #hacked sucks but not as much as being an actress at the mercy of these producers tongues. Now everyone knows! #rudin #pascal #email (sic)," Zoe tweeted nine hours ago.
The emails were hacked by a group which is objecting to the release of Seth Rogen's new comedy The Interview, which focuses on North Korea.
