Zooey Deschanel has spoken about her newborn daughter publicly, something she rarely does.

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zooey Deschanel has joked mimicking her daughter’s crib enthusiasm is now a life goal.

The 35-year-old New Girl actress and her husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed a baby girl into the world in August.

Zooey has kept her family affairs extremely private, especially since giving birth, but the star took to Twitter on Wednesday to gush about her daughter’s new-found delight.

“I wish I could be half as entertained by ANYTHING as my daughter is by this plastic mobile. #lifegoals,” she tweeted, referring to the dangling contraption hanging above the newborn’s crib.

Earlier this month Zooey revealed her high hopes for the little girl.

She can see her daughter taking on quite an important occupation in the future.

“My infant daughter is going to run for president. She remains silent all of the key issues but she’s much cuter than Donald Trump,” Zooey tweeted.

Zooey’s New Girl co-star Lamorne Morris previously spoke about his thoughts on what type of parent she will be.

And Lamorne claims although Zooey may get up to some unruly shenanigans on TV, he doubts the star will allow her daughter to go wild in real life.

“She’s a great mother to us on set,” he gushed to People magazine. “She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time. She gives me advice on every aspect of my life. Family, finances…

“She’s very smart. Very healthy. She’ll teach her daughter how to eat right, that’s for sure.”
