Zooey Deschanel can't get enough of Yuletide melodies.

The actress starred in Christmas classic Elf opposite Will Ferrell in the 2003 holiday comedy.

Zooey is grateful for her involvement in the classic movie, especially since she has such a strong affinity for Christmas music.

"I love singing Christmas carols," she told People magazine.

"I know every harmony to every Christmas song."

Zooey brings along her tunes wherever she goes.

She appreciates the invention of the iPod.

"It's amazing how portable music has gotten," Zooey mused.

"There is no better example than the always awesome Shuffle."

Zooey will be ridding herself of the holiday pounds she packs on through feasting with fun exercise.

She and her New Girl castmembers and crew are committed to jump roping as much as possible.

"We started a Double Dutch club on the New Girl set," she said.

"It's a great way to stay active, no matter what your age is."

Taurus:

Take a friend's advice with a pinch of salt. Although you love this dreamer dearly, they don't have a realistic grasp of the situation. Trust your instincts instead. You've always taken great pride in your work ethic. Abandoning a project before it is finished will weigh on your conscience. Do the best you can with a severely reduced budget. The results won't be thrilling, but they will be respectable. Nobody will blame you for having to make bricks from straw.More
