Frank and Christine Lampard emerge from their wedding at St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge, London on Sunday.

The couple tied the knot after a four-year engagement and plenty of speculation as to when their big day would be.

TV presenter Christine wore a Suzanne Neville dress that cost a reported £10,000 with delicate lace detail sleeves, a plunging sweetheart neckline and a full skirt. Her footballer husband Frank sported a Thom Sweeney suit and his two daughters from his relationship with Ellen Rivas, Luna and Isla, acted as flower girls in matching white dresses.

After the ceremony, husband and wife hosted their reception at The Arts Club in London.

The star-studded event was a who's who of TV entertainment, including big names such as Phillip Schofield, Ant and Dec and Holly Willoughby. Also in attendance were Frank's footballing cousin, Jamie Redknapp, and his wife Louise.

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan later told his audience how Frank had become emotional during his speech at the reception, where guests were later entertained by singer Ed Sheeran.

Piers went on to tell the story of how the couple met at the Pride of Britain awards in 2009. Frank had noticed the stunning Christine at the same event, but was told by Piers that she was out of his league.

However, two years later, Frank got down on one knee at a romantic beachside lunch in Los Angeles and popped the question. When Christine said yes, she earned herself a sparkler that was rumoured to have cost £120,000.

Since their engagement, the media has been rife with rumours as to when the couple would say 'I do', but Frank and Christine continued to keep their cards close to their chest.

The pair moved to New York earlier this year when Frank signed for New York City FC and as late as May they were claiming to have no imminent wedding plans.

On their big day, however, the pair couldn't keep the smiles off their faces as they became husband and wife.
