Saturdays star Mollie vows to give Strictly her best shot
The Saturdays singer Mollie King has promised to put her all into her performances on Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
The 30-year-old became the first celebrity contestant to be named for this year's line-up, appearing live on Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 breakfast show on Monday.
She told listeners: "It's something that I've always said I wanted to do. I've always watched it with my family and it looked so fun. I'm going to give it my all. I'm very competitive so watch out, contestants."
Some of the other celebrities rumoured to be joining Mollie include The Weakest Link star Anne Robinson (72), EastEnders actress Samantha Womack (44), singer Olly Murs (33), This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford (57), Bros singer Matt Goss (48), Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon (33), Ross Kemp (53) and Joe Wicks (30). Dame Joan Collins (84) has denied rumours that she will take part.
