Amazing 3-D artistry from Pavement Picasso will deceive all eyes in Belfast

The artist known as the Pavement Picasso is preparing to unveil his dimension-defying skills in Belfast.

Julian Beever, an English artist who lives in Belgium, yesterday began a new 3-D appearance chalk masterpiece at Victoria Square.

His works are amazing pieces of trompe-l’oeil - trick of the eye - chalk drawings on pavement which give the illusion of real-life dimension on flat surfaces.

Visitors to Belfast will have to wait until Friday however to see the completed masterpiece which is when Beever will add the final touches.

Spend quality time preparing food, making decorations and playing games together. If you haven't sent all your cards or round robin emails give some thought about what you will be sharing with others this year.More
