Cathedral Quarter luminaries light up Belfast art exhibition
Eight people who were the driving force behind the renaissance of Belfast's Cathedral Quarter are featured in a new exhibition.
Playwright Martin Lynch and hotelier Petra Wolsey are among the images in oil adorning the exhibition at the John Hewitt bar on Donegall Street.
The others are Gerry White, Joris Minne, Patricia Freedman, Sean Kelly, Michelle Devlin and Niall McKenna, all painted by Belfast artist Christopher James McGarry.
Historically, the Cathedral Quarter was the centre of Belfast's warehousing district, serving the linen and shipbuilding industries.
It has been transformed into a cultural hub over the last 15 years.
The exhibition will be on display for a month.
