Ben allen solo, Creative Exchange Studios, Newtownards Road, Belfast, Until March 27

This is Allen’s first solo show for four years although his varied, quirky and very original pieces pop up regularly in numerous places.

Perhaps best known for his views of Belfast landmarks (particularly Samson and Goliath) he is really a multi-media artist who can, and does, turn his hand to many different means of expression from T-shirts to woodcuts, digital prints and assembled sculpture. Since he was a child he wanted to be an artist. He says: “My art is a total conglomeration of things”. So it should be fun.

For opening times contact the gallery on 028 9045 2299.
