It's ‘Best foot forward' for Maiden Voyage's latest production, a dance interpretation of the life and times of Georgie Best.
And you could argue that dance is the only way to capture the sheer, darting delight that was our George in full flow. Choreographer Andy Hewitt has set those soccer moves to music from David Goodall. The performance looks at Best's life, inspired by letters, photographs, and George's autobiography. The show includes music, fashion, design and style from the four decades which span Georgie's early days, through to his death.
