McGregor made history to become the UFC's first ever two-weight champion by defeating Eddie Alvarez in New York's Madison Square Garden.

And on his arrival in Belfast's El Divino fans were thrilled to even be in the same room as the fighter with scores clamouring to get up close.

"Nearly tore the roof off of the building! The King knows how to get a crowd going! Legend!" Ronan McGuigan said in a YouTube post.

The Dubliner partied on in the club until the small hours.
