Pacemaker Press Belfast 14-04-2013: MUD FOR IT: A record one thousand people got down and dirty at this year?s McVitie?s Jaffa Cakes Mud Madness, with hopes to raise more than ?11,000 for a great cause. Competitors came from all over Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Germany and the US to compete in the wacky race at Foymore Lodge, Portadown.  Professional athletes, casual joggers and people who are just a bit bonkers made their way across four and half miles of bogs and ponds, under cargo nets, across monkey bars and over inflatable obstacles all in aid of charity partner Marie Curie Cancer Care.
