- BELFAST'S The Bunker, at Lavery's Bar, keeps the flag flying for live music over the holiday break. Tonight sees the return of the hard-rocking outfit, Devaste. Tomorrow night offers up Falling From Grace and Gunther, followed by Exit (Tuesday), Heeltap (Wednesday), In Theory (Thursday) and Discharge (Saturday).

- THE completely transformed, souped-up Mono venue in Belfast provides a platform for the Dj-ing talents of Skillz and D.A.Z tonight, the Funkasaurus DJs on Friday and Steve Limmer and Fra Gilmore on Saturday.

- COOL clubbers may well feel that they are in seventh heaven with the arrival of Cowboys & Angels - a new club night at Belfast's The Shoe Factory, in Union Street. The themed regular Monday club night is being sponsored by hip clothes and perfume designer, Thierry Mugler. Dance host will be Robert Brown.

- THERE will be a rush of blood to the head of prog rock fans, with the release of the exquisitely packaged Replay X 3 DVD/CD package tomorrow.

The three-DVD/one-CD set captures Canadian rock legends, Rush in performance on their first three concert videos - on DVD for the first time - with the bonus of an audio CD of their Grace Under Pressure show AND reprints of the original tour programmes.

- INDEPENDENT club night, Two Step showcase the talents of three up and coming local rock outfits at Belfast's The Limelight on Thursday. Headlining the night will be thunderous trio, La Faro, who are set to release a debut single soon for an English based label. Support comes from the Kerrang! blessed In Case Of Fire and live debutants, Saint Dudes. Admission is a fiver.

- SCOTTISH-born, Australian-based folk singer/songwriter, Eric Bogle is back in Ulster for two shows this week, at McGrory's, Culdaff on Thursday and the Burnavon Theatre, Cookstown on Friday.

Tickets for the County Donegal show are €18 (€16 concession), available from 00-35374-9120777 and Cookstown tickets are £13, available from the box office on 028-86769949.

- AN extraordinary 44 years later, Irish folk legends, The Dubliners are still gigging away, with shows at the Millennium Forum, Londonderry on Friday and the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Saturday. Derry tickets are £18, £20 and £21.50, available from the venue box office on 028-71264455. Belfast tickets are £22.50 and £25, available from the box office on 028-90334455 and Ticketmaster outlets.

- LOCAL club night, Indie Delights Live presents the return of fondly-remembered Irish rock popsters, The Walls, at the Empire Music Hall, Belfast on Saturday.

Admission is £7.50. Support comes from Indie Delights' resident DJs, Sig Doherty, Lantern Jazz and Dave McDaid.
