Windows have been broken and two wheelie bins set on fire during a racist attack at a house in Newtownabbey.

Some five windows were smashed at the property at around 1.35am on Friday in Merston Gardens, Greencastle.

Bins at the back of the house were also set on fire.

There was no one in at the time.

Police have said they are treating the attack as a hate crime.

They have appealed for information.
