Crafty EastSide Arts Festival poster confirms that 'sex' sells

Published 25/08/2015

I noticed a very cleverly worded poster on the bus the other day, advertising the EastSide Arts Festival which is running until August 31.

The crux of the poster listed a series of words which reflected the main activities of the festival, but I noticed the order of the words were not entirely used at random. Bang in the centre of the grouping of words, I noticed two words, 'talksexhibitions' which caught my eye, presumably because of the hidden word which hit me up the face.

The words being highlighted were 'talks' and 'exhibitions', but I thought the marketing behind this poster was very crafty. It shows that 'sex' sells.
