50 Cent reportedly always wears a fresh pair of trainers.

The US singer filed for bankruptcy last week, but his money woes haven't affected his footwear fetish say sources.

For his performance at London's O2 on Friday, 50 reportedly required a special room just for his shoes.

"Fiddy is obsessed with his trainers and always wears a fresh pair. When he's on tour he brings so many pairs with him to choose from for the show, he requests an extra dressing room just for his sneakers," a source told British newspaper Metro.

Dressed in a red and black leopard print hoodie, white T-shirt and a black cap, 50, real name Curtis Jackson, looked relaxed at the London gig in the wake of his cash problems.

The 40-year-old declared himself bankrupt last Monday, the same day he was due to testify in a $5 million sex tape lawsuit surrounding a video he published online without the permission of Lastonia Leviston, who appeared in the footage.

Earlier this year Forbes valued the star at a cool $155million, attributing a large portion of this money to ventures outside of music, including his work with Vitamin Water.

50 has also dipped his toes into the world of style, creating his own underwear line with Frigo.

“My inspiration for this line came from the idea of the hierarchy of living, which is why you will see the crown as a constant throughout the designs,” he told WWD of the Frigo Crown collection.
