Adam Levine to launch scent
Adam Levine is set to release his first fragrance which will "reflect [his] personality and style".
The Maroon 5 frontman will launch 222 by Adam Levine in May 2013 which will be available in men's and women's scents.
The 32-year-old singer has teamed up with ID Perfumes, the masterminds behind Katy Perry's fragrances - and the new line will range from $35 to $65 with gift sets and related products to follow seasonally.
The company has high hopes for Adam's scent.
"Adam is a performer with tremendous charisma, both on stage and on TV. Endeavouring to capture that in a bottle has thus far been very exciting and we're certain the final products will be even more so," ID Perfumes chairman and C.E.O. Ilia Lekach said in a statement.

While Ilia has faith Adam's charm will bring in customers, the singer has previously stated that he used to be "very uncool" at school.
Adam is admired the world over by adoring female and male fans alike, but insists this wasn't always the case.
"When I was 14 to 15, I think it was a little less cool to be in a band. I was very uncool, had disgusting long hair and shorts down to [to my knees], cut off shorts - I desperately wanted to be Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam really badly, and I was just a nerdy, awkward kid and I was obsessed with music," he previously explained.
