Adele Grammy hair tips
Adele's Grammy Award hairstyle was inspired by "old classics" but given a "modern twist".
The British songstress wowed at the prestigious music ceremony on Sunday with her astonishing six gong-sweep - and she also impressed on the red carpet.
Adele's mid-length locks were given a glamorous make-over, and stylist Lino Carbosiero has explained how he achieved the star's stunning look.
"We made Adele's hair shoulder-length and cut a long layer through the back so as to give her a bit of swing and some natural movement," he explained to People.
"We wanted to create an old classic with a modern twist."
Lucy Holbrook - a colourist at the Daniel Galvin salon in London - was responsible for Adele's lighter blonde locks.
The hair professional has explained how she created the beautiful hue to complement Adele's signature volumised tresses.
"We decided to colour Adele's hair a honey-coloured blonde as it suited her complexion and really brought out the colour of her eyes," she revealed.
"It was important to elect a colour with plenty of depth to complement the bouncy voluminous styles that she favours."
