Adele 'on health kick'
Adele wants to lose weight now that she has "so much more energy" from quitting smoking.
The British singer has always advocated beautifully curvy figures, but is said to be keen to drop a couple of dress sizes healthily.
Adele has reportedly started a new training regime following a health scare last year, when she had to have surgery on her vocal cords.
In a bid to save her iconic voice, the songstress quit smoking and has since been working out with a personal trainer twice a week.
According to British newspaper The Sun, the 23-year-old star is making the most of her newfound vigour.
"Adele has found so much more energy now she's quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she's half-way there," a source told the UK publication.
"She had always been curious about taking up Pilates but until recently there just hadn't been any time."
Although she wants to drop a few pounds, Adele has reportedly been telling those close to her that she doesn't want her weight loss to send the wrong message to her fans.
The stunning star has always championed fuller figures.
"I've never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like, 'I need to look like that to be a success.' I don't want to be some skinny mini with my t*ts out," she said in a recent magazine interview.
Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld sparked outrage recently when he accused Adele of being overweight.
"The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice," he said.
