Adele particular about style

Adele is "very specific" about her fashion requirements, says her manicurist.

The 23-year-old's recent album 21 has been a global success. She has a distinctive style to match her stunning voice, and the star's stylists say she's particular when it comes to her signature look.

"Adele's very specific about what she wants. When she's performing, she likes to keep her nails short, so she can play the guitar, but other than that she likes to keep them long and polished," her manicurist Mike Pocock told more! magazine.

Adele's make-up artist Michael Ashton also revealed his secrets to creating Adele's flawless look. The beauty expert relies on a number of key products to keep the singer looking red-carpet ready.

"It's all about the perfect photo-finish skin," he said. "I love using Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine face cream under her make-up - it's perfect for the red carpet and shoots. I often use MAC Studio Careblend pressed powder over her face, then to get her trademark glow I use Bobbi Brown bronzer in Bahamas."

Michael has also revealed his top tip for recreating Adele's perfect pout. He recommends using a gloss to make lips pop.

"Just before Adele walks on stage, my trick is to apply a touch of gloss in the centre and just on the cupid's bow to accentuate the perfect lip," he revealed.
