Alexa Chung jokes: I'm designing onesies

Alexa Chung talks brutal beauty

Alexa Chung has laughed at the idea she could be designing her own line of "onesies".

The British trendsetter is rumoured to be planning her own line of stylish clothing in the future.

Having been the face of numerous labels, from Lacoste to Superga, as well as the muse of Chanel frontman Karl Lagerfeld, Alexa is more than qualified to start her own collection.

The cute and smart dresser is keeping the details of her line under wraps for now, joking she may have sketched drawings of her own range of comfortable slouching all-in-ones.

"I might be dipping a toe into the world of designing, but I'm not going to say any more than that," Alexa teased to Grazia magazine. "Yes! That's it! I'm designing a onesie! I mean, [onesies are] so comfortable. I used to get more dressed up when I was at home. I'd put on all sorts of ridiculous things, just for slobbing about in. But when I heard the call of loungewear I was like, 'What was I thinking before?'"

The star is known for her friendships with a host of fashion's A-list including Cara Delevingne and for sitting front row at catwalk shows alongside the likes of chart topper Lana Del Rey. She admitted that if she did don the garments in real life, her perfect-looking posse may not be so keen to associate with her.

"If I said, 'Hey, come over, we'll spend an evening looking for grey hairs, wearing onesies,' I don't think they'd be that interested in hanging out with me to be honest," Alexa shared.
