Alicia Keys obsessed with Givenchy heels

Alicia Keys has a pair of "custom Givenchy heels" which her stylist Laura Jones says are her favourite.

The singer's stylist has shared which pair of shoes from her vast footwear collection are Alicia's favourite.

The songstress, who is currently on her Set the World on Fire Tour, apparently has a soft spot for glamorous designer heels.

“She loves shoes and has a very impressive collection ranging from basic sneakers to one-of-a-kind couture heels," Laura told WWD. "She has some amazing custom Givenchy heels that she absolutely adores.”

Laura also spoke about the footwear Alicia is donning on tour. It is a challenge to find styles which look eye-catching on stage but are also comfortable enough to dance in.

“The shoes have to serve two equally important roles. They need to look great as well as feel great," Laura explained. "As much as we love a towering stiletto, it’s just not sustainable to wear night after night. After many heel trials, we settled on a customised pair of Aldo T-strap heels with a Lucite heel. They are modern and beautiful but still very comfortable and easy to perform in.”

Alicia recently teamed up with Reebok for a second collaboration of sneakers, including an update of the classic model the Reebok Freestyle.

Her Reebok Classic X Alicia Keys collection, which went on sale on April 1, takes the comfort of trainers and gives them an edge thanks to the in-built heel.

These styles are a prominent feature in Alicia's tour wardrobe.

“Yes, absolutely, the new Reebok styles are great and we used them for the dancers’ costumes as well as for the band," Laura finished. "Everyone is always looking for extra pairs to keep - they are super-popular.”
