Allison Williams: Bosworth is my idol

Allison Williams

Allison Williams is in awe of Kate Bosworth.

The Girls star has nothing but praise for the blonde actress and her effect on the fashion industry.

Recalling the moment she spoke to Kate one-on-one Allison couldn't hide her awe as she looked at the fellow-actress.

"I get to meet a lot of incredible designers and some of my idols - like Kate Bosworth. She's beautiful and has an amazing sense of style, and she also has her own fashion line now," she gushed to British magazine Look.

The 26-year-old feels lucky to have been given the opportunity to put on such beautiful pieces when attending star-studded occasions.

"I'm very interested in fashion and I love the fantastic outfits I've been getting a chance to wear to different events," she added.

While she is known for dressing glamorous away from the camera, Allison's on-screen character Marnie from hit TV show Girls isn't as glamorous and confident. When filming risqué scenes for the programme the brunette beauty admits she has no plans to bare all.

"I wouldn't feel comfortable doing nude scenes. As soon as you appear naked, the photos of you are going to be spread all over the internet and everyone starts talking about the nudity rather than the work," she sighed.

"I don't think there's any advantage for me to appear naked."

Girls has won many awards since it first aired in 2012, and catapulted it's four lead actresses into global stardom, helping them become fashion icons themselves.

Creator and star of the show Lena Dunham graced the cover of Vogue for the February issue of the magazine, cementing Girls' place and relevance in pop culture.
