Allison Williams finds it more fun to get dressed when completing her look with a pair of Keds.

Allison Williams thinks the amount of Keds shoes she has is "almost weird".

The American actress posed for the footwear brand's fall 15 campaign and is now helping the label celebrate its 100th birthday. She stars in Keds Collective, a series of photos featuring strong women like Allison modelling shoes from over the years, like white sneakers.

“I have a whole section in my closet that is now Keds and I’ve been debating whether or not to post it (online) because there are so many of them it's almost weird!" she laughed to Footwear News. "I think I just need to assume that people assume that I have a lot of Keds and sort of lean into it."

As for what designs are her favourites, the Girls actress names the Chillax as the perfect option for travelling as she can fit them in her carry on bag, while the slightly chunkier Champions are the most versatile choice thanks to the different colours and prints.

"It makes it fun to get dressed in the morning because there kind of isn’t an outfit that doesn’t work with Keds honestly," she smiled.

She praises the company for allowing women and girls to "express themselves" through their feet and sees the shoes as an expression of people's own personality. Allison's role with Keds also gave her the chance to meet singer Ciara, who features in the Collective snaps too.

“I met Ciara at the birthday party and she’s an absolute dream and total delight," she gushed. "She’s really talented, and sweet and kind and warm, and she is everything you want her to be. I’ve always thought she was absurdly talented and seeing her in person and her talent manifested was pretty remarkable.”

It's no surprise the 28-year-old brunette loves the comfortable shoes so much, as she previously admitted to taking painkillers before red carpet events as wearing heels hurts so much.
