Amy Adams embraces cowboy chic
Amy Adams channels cowboy chic in a campaign for Boy. by Band of Outsiders.
The actress looks gorgeous in the sepia-tinted pictures for designer Scott Sternberg's collection.
The Wrestler star appears relaxed and happy as she models the label's Fall/Winter 12 collection at the Auntry National Centre, just outside of Los Angeles.
The theme of the pictures is playful, with Amy coyly hiding her face in one shot and laughing, clad in a red and white maxi dress in others.
The shots are refreshingly un-retouched, and feature soft colours, letting Amy's natural beauty shine with minimal make-up and tousled hair.
Inspired by cowboys, the 38-year-old poses in front of a buffalo mural and is seen swigging out of a hipflask.
"[The storyline for the shot was] where have all the cowboys gone? Or at least that was my narrative..." Amy told Vogue Daily.
"I love the South-western flair, because, being from Colorado, I'm drawn to clothes that feel like they were born from nature."
Sternberg says Amy's "wholesome" nature meant she was "top of the list" to star in the campaign.
And Amy was just as taken with the shots, revealing an ombré plaid shirtdress was her favourite piece.
"I don't always feel like myself in designer clothes, but in that dress, I felt like me," she enthused.
