Angelina Jolie 'decides on L'Wren wedding gown'

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is rumoured to have had "several meetings" with American designer L'Wren Scott to discuss wedding dress designs.

The actress has reportedly picked the designer as a serious contender to help her create her special dress. Angelina and Brad Pitt announced their engagement six months ago, but until now very little has been known about their nuptials.

"[Angelina and L'Wren have had] several meetings. Angelina wanted someone who is not so obvious for designing wedding gowns," a friend revealed to British magazine Grazia.

"She's been courted by some of the hottest designers on the planet, but having a big name isn't important to her, she wanted someone she could trust - and she most definitely trusts L'Wren."

Model-turned-designer L'Wren reportedly bonded with Angelina over their similarly shaped bodies. It is claimed this helped Angelina with her decision as she trusts L'Wren to design something flattering for her figure.

"L'Wren is famed for designing clothes to suit taller, thin women like herself," the friend continued.

"Of all the people she's met with, Angelina feels L'Wren is the one who understands her body the most."

Angelina has worn L'Wren's designs before. In 2008 the star dazzled in a L'Wren creation at the premiere of Brad's film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Los Angeles. She also rocked a strappy red L'Wren number to the 2011 premiere of Brad's movie Moneyball in Tokyo.
