Aniston airs hair secrets

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston has let fans in on the secret to her perfect hair.

The actress is famed for her glossy locks and her layered 'Rachel' style became famous when she starred as the character in hit sitcom Friends.

It might take women around the world hours to recreate her classic look, but Jennifer has revealed she spends very little time on styling.

"I usually shape the hair around my face with my fingers - just twist it and then refine it with a brush and let it air-dry," she admitted to Redbook.

"I use Living Proof Amp² styling cream, or I'll put it in two braids if I want a sort of manageable curl."

Jennifer, 44, usually sticks to what she knows and admits she would never bleach her hair, as she would find it "tough to pull off".

However, as a teenager, she was more open to trying new styles.

"When I was a little girl, I had long, straight hair with bangs, and my mom always said, 'You're not allowed to cut your hair until you're 13.' I mean, I would get trims. [After 13] I unleashed myself on my hair: I cut it every possible way. But ever since then, I have been trying to get my long, straight hair back," she laughed.

Jennifer is engaged to actor Justin Theroux and it's rumoured their wedding is imminent.

The star pays a lot more attention to her manicure now she has a sparkly ring on her finger.

"I do, and I'm so mortified because I have a chipped nail right now. Hopefully you'll forgive me for it," she grinned.
