Anna Kendrick loves it when a film doesn't require a high-maintenance grooming regime.

The actress is reprising her role as a cappella singer Beca for the sequel to the popular 2012 musical comedy. Her character has a grungy edge, which means her clothing is rarely too revealing - a plus point for the 28-year-old.

"Good news from the set of Pitch Perfect. Beca still mostly wears long pants and boots, so I basically never have to shave my legs. Or feet. (sic)," she drily noted on Twitter.

Luckily for Anna it looks like her next role will also be free of a high-maintenance grooming regime. It's been confirmed the star will lend her voice to Poppy in animated movie Trolls.

The Twilight star is known for her great sense of humour and down-to-earth nature. Despite her good personality and looks, Anna recently claimed she hasn't been hit on for five years.

She also said she was a late developer when it came to attracting guys.

"When I was a teenager, I was an ultra-late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you've got boobs," she recently laughed to Elle magazine. "I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!"

She added that she's never felt worried films only hire her because she's pretty.
