AnnaSophia Robb face of Bongo

AnnaSophia Robb

AnnaSophia Robb is the new face of US clothing line Bongo.

The 19-year-old actress has been announced as the new face of the US young person's fashion line.

AnnaSophia is best known for playing iconic fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel series The Carrie Diaries, a role in which she sported many on-trend ensembles.

"I am thrilled to be the new face of Bongo," AnnaSophia told US Weekly. "I had such a great time on set and I am excited for my fans to see the campaign. I feel really lucky to be the new Bongo girl. I feel like The Carrie Diaries fans and the Bongo fans are one and the same, so it's cool to be able to reach out to both."

This is the star's first major fashion campaign. AnnaSophia replaces Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale as the face of Bongo. The brand is known for its bright colours and strong prints, which include everything from plaid shirts to jeans.

"What I like about this Bongo collection is that feels very relatable and it feels trendy and tougher but also kind of flirty," she continued. "It's really cute."

Her debut campaign images were shot in New York City where she wears items from the Fall 2013 line. AnnaSophia's pictures will be seen in August editions of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines.

Bongo is sold exclusively at Kmart and Sears and has previously been represented by some of Hollywood's biggest stars including Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie.
