Anne Hathaway wears shoes from childhood

Anne Hathaway still owns a pair of shoes from when she was 12.

The Hollywood actress is famed for her elegant style and chic fashion choices, and always wows on the red carpet. Despite her style credentials, Anne doesn't care too much for the latest fashion trends.

The stunning star still wears a pair of boots she bought in her teens, and even donned them for her starring role in this year's romantic comedy, Love and Other Drugs.

"My Dr Martens!" she exclaimed when asked if she has any garb from her younger years.

"I have had the same pair since I was 12. They are the ones I wear in Love and Other Drugs!"

Anne can currently be seen in the film adaptation of One Day. She plays Emma Morley, who has a complete disregard for fashion.

Anne purposely chose to wear a pair of shoes which fell off her feet to highlight this fact.

"For One Day, I deliberately chose a pair of Docs a bit too big for me - they helped me find the ape-like walk I wanted for my character," she explained in an interview with French magazine Be.

"Emma isn't a really glamour girl. She isn't obsessed with fashion. The idea was to find her a 'non style'."
