Singer Ariana Grande never strays from her signature ponytail hairdo because she finds the hairstyle brings her "so much joy".

Ariana Grande doesn't feel fully dressed without false eyelashes.

Like most stars who grew up in the spotlight, the American singer’s look has evolved over the years.

But unlike many other young celebrities, Ariana has never strayed from her signature beauty look; a sky-high ponytail, fluttery lashes and a precise cat eye.

And the 23-year-old doesn’t try to conceal the fact that she’s open to a bit of artifice, openly discussing her love of false eyelashes and eyelash extensions.

“I love lashes,” she declared to “I feel like I could be completely naked but have lashes, and I’d be fine. Like, I’ll forget! Just walk out naked and completely forget.”

The brunette beauty will sometimes wear mascara as well as false eyelashes, and typically opts for MAC’s Haute & Naughty mascara, which she uses for a clumpy yet clean look.

As for her skin, she’s relieved to have left troubles with acne behind in her teenage years, but credits taking her make-up off every night as a big help.

“It doesn’t matter if I exfoliate or if I’m too tired - as long as my make-up is off, I’m fine,” she shared, adding that she is a big fan of natural cleansing products. “You know what I actually use on my face as well as my body? I feel like people would think it would make you break out, but it doesn’t make you break out: coconut oil! Like, cooking oil. I put it everywhere - in my hair, on my body. It’s the answer.”

Meanwhile, Ariana adds that she has no plans to ditch her famous ponytail anytime soon.

The Break Free singer is surprised that her hairstyle has become “a thing” in the media, but finds the undo is the most comfortable style to wear when she is performing.

“It brings me so much joy, honestly,” she admitted. “Every time I put my hair up, it’s like a surprise. Like, I forget how much I love it, and then I tie it back and I’m like, ‘I love this look! Ooh, girl!’ Every time I tie it up is like the first time. It’s like true love.”
