Beth Ditto has been praised by Italian fashion house front woman Donatella Versace for her "fearless attitude".

The American singer will perform live at the Versus show held at fashion house Versace's headquarters in the Italian city this Friday.

Beth will make her starring appearance directly after the top luxury label's showcase of their Spring/Summer 13 collection of Versus, the line designed in collaboration with Christopher Kane.

"I'm a big fan of Beth's voice and energy," Donatella Versace gushed to WWD. "Beth has an absolutely fearless attitude, the same animating Versus. It will be a fabulous night of fashion and music. I can't wait for it to be Friday."

Beth is known for her love of fashion and her own unique style.

She has walked the catwalk for Jean Paul Gautier and Chanel previously, and has collaborated on a collection she helped design with plus-size women's wear store Evans.

Beth is now planning on creating her own clothing range building on the success of her plus-sized range with the store.
