Justin Bieber has reportedly decided to ditch plans to design a range of clothes.
The 19-year-old popstar was said to be considering launching his own collection called Wild Kidz, inspired by his friendship with Lil Za and Lil Twist. Justin’s team even filed paperwork to trademark the name for a fashion range in September last year, with speculation he was eager to press forward with the project.
However, since relations cooled between Justin and the other two guys, it seems the singer has gone off the idea. He asked them to leave his Calabasas home a few months ago and now it appears he has no interest in designing with them either.
The name was chosen as it’s a phrase the trio used to shout when they were hanging out together and having fun. According to TMZ, Lil Twist made his own move towards creating a clothing collection by filing a trademark application for a similarly titled venture called W.I.L.D. Kidz.
Although it may have been an issue between the pair, Justin apparently is willing to take a step back.
“Clearly, a war was brewing... but sources tell us Bieber is planning to wave the white flag because he's OVER the company - and doesn't care enough to fight Twist for the rights to the name,” reports the website.
Justin has plenty of other projects to keep him busy.
Earlier this year he starred in Adidas Neo’s Spring/Summer 13 campaign. The teen heartthrob is renowned for his casual street style and believes he’s the perfect ambassador for the sportswear brand.
"I think the Adidas Neo label really fits with my personality and style," Justin explained. "They have a good line that you can walk out of the house and be swaggy in."
In July, the star launched his third perfume, The Key.
