Blake Lively: I prefer dressing up
Blake Lively would prefer not to wear sweats, even in her own home, as she loves dressing up too much.
The blonde beauty is a regular fixture on the red carpet and has recently wowed fashion lovers with her choice of gown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Her glamorous persona isn't only reserved for showbiz engagements though, as Blake often likes to dress up when she's at home too.
"Sometimes I wake up and wear sweats, but you know what, I'm not happy wearing sweats, because I love dressing up so much," Blake told the British edition of Hello! magazine. "I liken myself to a little girl having a tea party at the house all of the time. I actually dress up more in my home that I do walking down the streets, just because it is so much fun to play dress-up."
As well as indulging in her habit for being glamorous at home Blake also prefers to do her hair in the confines of her own house, which she shares with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
The 26-year-old Gossip Girl actress is well known for her flowing blonde locks, but says the secrets to beautiful hair is as simple as a ballerina bun.
"Honestly, I am a shy person and my hair is a safety net for me, so I love to have it down and full and relaxed. Often you see people on the red carpet with tight up-dos, but that makes me feel more stiff. For me, effortless hair is much more romantic and lived in.
"My hair is naturally wavy, so at home I dry it until it's just a little bit wet, put it in a ballerina bun and let it completely dry. Then when I take it down it has a soft, natural wave. That's a great trick. That and a hair mask - my hair can get frizzy so I apply masks and don't quite rinse them completely from the ends," she revealed.
