Blake Lively 'involved with wedding dress design'

Blake Lively was "a creative bride" who was "very involved" with her wedding dress designs.

The actress married Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds last month wearing a Marchesa gown. The label's design duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have revealed what it was like to work with Blake on the plans for her wedding day ensemble.

"Blake has such innate style. I've worked with her so many times and know her so well. We're friends - it was wonderful to spend time with her," Georgina told US magazine. "[She] was a creative bride with a very clear vision of what she wanted. She was very involved."

Georgina found helping the blonde actress create her dream gown thoroughly enjoyable.

"[Working with Blake was] a great experience," Georgina continued. "[We designed] a one-of-a-kind couture bridal ballgown, hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery."

Blake and Ryan were married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant in South Carolina on September 9 this year. The Marchesa duo also created the looks for her bridesmaids.

"A unique custom-made blush silk chiffon Marchesa gown," Georgina concluded about the bridesmaid's attire.
