Carmen Electra: Embrace your flaws

Carmen Electra insists even "movie stars and rock stars" have hidden flaws.

The stunning star has posed for a number of sultry shots in Regard magazine, where she's seen showing off her enviable curves in a range of gorgeous outfits.

Carmen talks about her self-help book How To Be Sexy in the accompanying interview and explained the tome was written to help women with their confidence.

"The message I was trying to convey is that everyone has something special about themselves they don't like, even models and movie stars and rock stars," she revealed in the publication.

"Embrace those flaws and build your confidence by working out and feeling good about yourself. I wanted to help empower women. Plus after having worked with the very best hair and make-up and styling teams. I thought I would share a few secrets that I have learned along the way!"

Carmen dons a selection of high-end pieces by designer Margi Kent in the glamorous pictures. The 39-year-old beauty relishes the opportunity to explore the gorgeous wardrobes available on shoots.

"I love dressing up for photoshoots, so Margi Kent's glamorous dresses and gowns were perfect for me," she gushed.

'It was a great variety of some that were tight fitting and some that were long and sophisticated."
