Carrie Underwood's personal sporty style

Carrie Underwood found launching her sportswear line a rewarding experience.

The multi-award winning music star is known for her country tunes and rose to prominence after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.

She’s become a style star too, and always looks glamorous on the red carpet, showing off her toned body. Now she’s helping ladies get fit with her new activewear line CALIA, to be sold exclusively at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

“The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals and beyond,” Carrie said in a statement. “As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I’m excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle.”

The collection hits shelves in March 2015, and will retail from $20 to $65. Fans can also follow the latest news on Twitter via @CaliabyCarrie. The 31-year-old singer has been tweeting her excitement from her personal account, too.

Carrie was involved in every stage of the process, and loved learning the different aspects of design.

“It has been such a rewarding experience working with Dick’s Sporting Goods on all aspects of the design process for CALIA, from choosing fabrics to making sure the look, feel and fit is right for active women,” she continued.

Carrie isn’t the only celebrity to venture into the world of sportswear, with Kate Hudson’s brand Fabletics garnering huge popularity.
