Cate Blanchett Armani campaign revealed

Cate Blanchett looks elegant in plain unbuttoned shirt as she poses for the new Giorgio Armani fragrance campaign.

The Hollywood beauty was announced as the face of the designer label’s latest perfume in May.

After weeks of waiting, a picture from the campaign has now been released.

In the new image, Cate poses with her hands in front of her, wearing a plain white shirt that is seductively unbuttoned.

The blonde beauty's make-up is flawless in the first-look picture, with a flick of black liner above her lids and a slick of soft coral lipstick. Cate's shoulder-length is left loose and is pushed back from her face.

Sí will hit shelves at the end of the summer and reportedly has notes of freesia, may rose, vanilla and patchouli.

Cate recently described what emotions the new Armani fragrance evokes for her.

“For me, fragrance contains memory, the scent of your mother, your friends... I think fragrance is a really subtle but important way in which women express themselves and express who they aspire to be,” she explained to WWD. “This fragrance is very chic, timeless with a freshness and warmth I find inspiring.”

Cate has a long-standing professional relationship with the Armani label.

She has not only worn creations by Giorgio on the red carpet at numerous high-profile premieres, but has openly spoken about her admiration of his work and their respected friendship.

“With my very first pay check as an actress, I bought an Armani suit, and I still have it and love it,” she previously gushed. “Mr. Armani has created an ever-evolving, ever-expanding, all-encompassing universe. It’s about the way you live your life and who you are as much as how you look.”
