Charlize Theron: Ageing is hard

Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron is just like any other woman when it comes to fearing ageing.

The 38-year-old actress is considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood and can next be seen in comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West.

She might be the envy of countless women, but even Charlize struggles to come to terms with the process of ageing.

"It's not easy; I'm approaching 40," she sighed to German magazine TV Movie. "I'm just like all women in the sense that I sometimes find it hard to look in the mirror."

Charlize, who is currently dating Sean Penn, adopted son Jackson in 2012. Luckily her little man is helping her to see the best in life.

"Jackson teaches me to be grateful for things I took for granted," she smiled. "He's made me more curious and, if anything, I want to work more."

The blonde star certainly didn't look as if she needed to worry about age when she and Sean headed to California earlier this month for the premiere of A Million Ways to Die in the West. Charlize wore a gorgeous lacy black Dior dress and accessorised with a slick of bright red lipstick.

Despite feeling nervous about getting older, the star has previously revealed that she's never done anything "extreme" for beauty and that her main indulgence are facials.

When it comes to her body, she's accepted who she is.

"I don’t have issues being naked. That sounds very sl*tty ... What I mean is, I’m not hung up on my body," she previously said to W magazine.
