Chloë Grace Moretz for Coach
Coach creative director Stuart Vevers has explained why he chose Chloë Grace Moretz and Kid Cudi to front the latest Dreamers campaign.
The 17-year-old actress and Pursuit of Happiness singer have been selected by the accessories and lifestyle brand to front its latest Dreamers campaign. Their involvement follows on from the likes of Zoë Kravitz, Odeya Rush, Christopher Abbott and Banks, who previously posed for its fall advertisements.
In the new snaps Chloë looks cute and stylish modelling various handbags from the range, such as a blue leather backpack which she wears while perched on a bike in a knitted sweater.
Meanwhile Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, also poses with several carriers including a black briefcase-style design as he reclines on a sofa grinning at the camera.
Coach's creative director Stuart Vevers is pleased with his casting decision, explaining what makes each star the perfect fit for the job.
“Chloë’s free-spirited attitude and spontaneity makes her a perfect incarnation of the Coach spring 15 girl, while Kid Cudi’s effortless ease and coolness could not better embody the spirit of the spring 15 men’s collection,” he told WWD.
The pair were styled by Karl Templer and photographed by Mikael Jansson, who has previously helmed shoots for high-end publications such as Interview magazine. Fabien Baron was in charge of art direction and alongside each picture of Cudi and Chloë is a close up of the item they are endorsing.
The Dreamers campaign will appear in titles such as Details, Nylon and GQ alongside the traditional model-fronted fashion advertisements. In these, up-and-coming models including Grace Hartzel, Molly Bair and Valery Kaufman appear.
