Christina Aguilera has fond fashion memories

Christina Aguilera says her sultry chaps look will go down as a "great memory" in her style history.

The songstress revamped her image for the release of her fourth studio album, Stripped - donning dark eye make-up, an ultra dark tan, bleached-blonde dreadlocks and sporting a sexed-up wardrobe.

Christina famously donned chaps to promote her single Dirrty, and although her look was panned by many, the blonde star is proud of the unconventional attire.

"The Dirrty video, of course: The chaps will go down as a great memory and a great risk!" she laughed in an interview with

Christina has also experimented with glossy looks, turning heads with retro blonde curls and signature red lips following the release of her 2006 album.

"I really love old Hollywood glam - so the Back to Basics album cover was a really fun look for me!" she exclaimed.

Christina is preparing for the release of her sixth scent, Red Sin. The stunning star loves the process of creating a fragrance.

"I find fragrance to be so mood-evoking and something any woman can do, and I love that about it," she said.

"It can make you feel sexy before someone even sees you. That is pretty powerful. It has been a wonderful process for me."
