Christina Hendricks rocks strawberry blonde hair
The ladies of Mad Men dazzled on the red carpet at a New York screening for the show yesterday.
The 39-year-old star had become synonymous with having flame-coloured hair whilst portraying Joan Harris in the hit show, which is currently celebrating the release of the seventh and final series.
But yesterday Christina shunned her typical look in favour of noticeably lighter tresses as she hit the red carpet in the Big Apple. The shade complemented her porcelain skin tone beautifully, as did her simple nude lips and subtle smoky eyes.
Her blonde do was first debuted during a recent ad for haircare giant Clairol, which she is the face of, but for last night's event her hair was definitely longer and fell in casual loose waves.
Christina didn't turn her back on red altogether though as her shimmering dress was a deep maroon shade, clinging to her curves in all the right places.
Elisabeth Moss was also in attendance to bid farewell to her much-loved character Peggy Olson. The actress kept things simple in a monochrome dress made up of a white strappy top and black skirt.
She also went minimal with jewellery, turning down a necklace to enhance the flattering neckline of her dress and only wearing a pair of dangling rose-gold earrings.
January Jones, who plays Betty Draper, has been boasting a gorgeous pink rinse recently and last night was no exception as she arrived with a slick updo and cute navy frock. The sleeveless number had cut-outs at the side and a bold orange print on the front to break up the dark colour.
To keep to the retro theme of the show the pleated skirt had a distinct 50s vibe, while her burnt orange heels matched the embellishment on her top.
