Christopher Bailey honours NY store
Christopher Bailey has flown to New York to honour the latest changes to the Burberry store there.
The creative director of the fashion house was in the city on Tuesday to look at alterations which have been made to the space in Saks Fifth Avenue.
It now boasts a new make-up and perfume area, for the first time in America.
Bosses at Saks were so excited about the changes they dressed mannequins in all the store's Fifth Avenue windows in designs from the brand.
While in the city, the creative director took the opportunity to visit a school his company supports. Burberry has links to the Robin Hood Foundation, which aims to help ease the lives of those affected by poverty in New York City. Christopher went to a school to see how it's benefited.
"I've had the most amazing day - the optimism, the energy and the passion of the teachers and the kids was wonderful to see," he told WWD.
It's been a busy week for the star, as on Wednesday he jetted to Los Angeles to celebrate the company's new fragrance Burberry Body at its Beverly Hills Store.
