However, Ciara's fashion, beauty and modelling ventures will now be taken care of by IMG, while WME will continue to nurture her singing and acting careers.

"I'm super thrilled about partnering with IMG Models," Ciara gushed in a statement. "I have always had a strong love for fashion and I'm grateful to be surrounded by so many great friends that are the best at what they do in this industry. This partnership will give me an opportunity to grow and experiment as an artist. I truly look forward to all the amazing things we have planned ahead."

She shared her delight on social media too, writing on Twitter and Instagram: "Excited To Join The @IMGmodels Family. Looking Forward To The Journey Ahead. #IMG"

Ciara's appointment sees her join the likes of Kate Moss, Lara Stone, Karlie Kloss and Ashley Graham. With her bold, statement looks, the singer will fit in effortlessly alongside such big names and is sure to pick up and share new tips with her fellow models.

She's already one to give pearls of wisdom to fans wishing to recreate her style and beauty, often discussing her approach to looking fabulous. Ahead of the Grammy's in February (16), Ciara revealed she didn't even exercise to ensure she looked flawless in the spotlight, instead choosing to cut back on food.

“Making sure I’m not over-indulging, don’t want the belly to bulge," she told PeopleStyle. "There is a unique way to eat on the day of red carpet. You just scale everything back - even water... You just refrain from doing all the heavy foods that are going to make you bloat. And then cut the water intake back too. I’m usually all about the water.

"I’ll refrain from doing all the carbs (carbohydrates) before carpet and then after carpet is over, I kill the carbs."
