A modern looking Marion Cotillard poses in front of a blue abstract canvas in a new campaign for Lady Dior.
The Oscar-winning actress poses alongside a piece of contemporary art in a new image for Lady Dior. In the shot Marion wears a vivid blue mini dress with bow detail from the resort collection by Dior designer Raf Simons. On her right arm she carries a striking iridescent blue bag with airbrushing details, and is captured standing in front of a matching blue abstract canvas.
Marion’s make-up look is kept simple and showcases her stunning complexion. The French beauty stares into the camera sporting a deep red pout and a just hint of warm blush. Her hair is also given a modern edge, with her brunette bob slicked back off her face in a side parting.
Tim Walker took the photographs, which will feature in the Japanese edition of Vogue on October 28 and Vanity Fair in the US two days later. The images will also appear on diormag.com, which is the fashion house’s online magazine.
This is one of Marion’s most modern looks for Dior in the five years she has been shooting campaigns.
In March, the 38-year-old star oozed elegant chic as she posed with an orange handbag for the label’s pre-fall line.
Dior have made no secret of their affection for Marion, insisting she is the perfect person to promote their collections.
"She has been the face of the Lady Dior bag since 2008, the epitome of a sophisticated and vibrant woman," a statement read last year as it was announced she would be designing her own bag.
