Couples rule Met Gala
Celebrity couples stole the spotlight at the Met Gala in New York City last night.
The blonde actress and her handsome husband dazzled on the red carpet for the Charles James: Beyond Fashion Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Blake is the face of Gucci's Guilty fragrance and opted to wear a stunning dust pink gown by the fashion house, which was delicately covered in beads and sequins. The dress featured a daring neckline and long cape-style back which trailed behind her. To top it off the stunning piece clung to her enviable figure perfectly, while her blonde tresses were styled into loose curls and worn over her left shoulder.
Clearly impacted by his wife's choice of designer outfit, Ryan opted for a smart Gucci ensemble. The heartthrob wore a navy velvet suit with a cotton collar over a white shirt and maroon-coloured bowtie.
Another couple who turned heads at the event were Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z. The songstress went for a seductive look in a bejewelled Givenchy Couture gown. With its sheer finish and plunging neckline, along with a thigh-high slit, Beyoncé was able to show off her gorgeous curves without giving too much away.
To complete the sultry ensemble she wore a beaded net veil over her face and beautiful dangling earrings by Lorraine Schwartz to give an extra touch of glamour.
Jay Z contrasted against his wife in a clean white suit jacket and shirt, which he wore with a black bowtie and smart black trousers.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp put on a public display of affection as they made their way into the venue. The blonde actress wore her hair in her signature beehive style and looked beautiful in a sheer off-white Giambattista Valli gown, decorated with a golden leaf pattern. A spot of red lipstick made her mouth stand out perfectly from her fair complexion.
Johnny appeared to have darker hair and looked smart in a Ralph Lauren Purple Label black tuxedo tailcoat and white pique vest. He kept up his dapper appearance by holding a cane in his right hand as his left held onto Amber's.
