Dakota Fanning's white is right look at Rodarte
Dakota Fanning and Tavi Gevinson stylishly clashed on the front row of Rodarte's runway production during New York Fashion Week yesterday.
The 20-year-old actress has proved over the last few years she's moved away from her child-star status, and continued to do so on the front row of the event in the Big Apple on Tuesday.
Looking ladylike and grown-up, Dakota wore a plain white vest top tucked into a shimmery white pencil skirt with a thigh-high split on her left side. Over this she added a silky satin jacket, accessorised with nude-coloured shoes and a chunky silver chain necklace with a padlock pendant.
This appearance follows her attendance at the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, where she was a proud big sister as she watched her younger sibling Elle perform a cover of Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home.
"I was so proud," Dakota said of the performance. "I know she can sing very well but I guess other people didn't."
At the show yesterday the blonde star was joined by the likes of Tavi Gevinson, who has moved from blogging into acting recently. The brunette beauty clashed against Dakota as they sat next to each other, with Tavi rocking a black skirt and dark vintage-style blouse with the print of flowers and children's faces.
Continuing her quirky look the 18-year-old wore knee-high socks over her shoes, and added a slick of dark red lipstick.
Vera Wang's show also boasted big names, with British songstress Estelle being one of them. The American Boy singer showed off her long legs in a pair of patterned short shorts and a long sleeveless blouse with a black tie around the neck.
Breaking up the pattern, Estelle wore a grey striped sleeveless cardigan over the top and completed her look with chunky black heels.
