Denim lovers rejoice. Fashion's most versatile fabric is set to take us right through summer into next season.

And it's not just jeans that are being snapped up by the style-conscious. The long-wearing denim is cropping up everywhere, from shirt dresses to shorts, jackets to jumpsuits.

While skinny jeans are still around, denim's been given a wider silhouette this summer, with 70s kick-flares and the relaxed, boyfriend fit. There's also the skirt-for-all-seasons, the A-line, as well as dungarees, tunics, shoes and shoulder bags.

While some dedicated followers of fashion have been brave enough to rock double denim, for most, the head-to-toe style is best avoided, unless you want to look like an extra from Starsky and Hutch circa 1976.

But with a style to suit all shapes, ages and sizes, this is one trend which shows no signs of going away.
